@@beffberry I went to check the wipes are biodegradable, vegan and cruelty free and the brand is very environment conscious. She does try , doesn't mean she is perfect but she is trying and doing her best to protect the planet, that's all we can do. If a person uses one bad product it does not invalidate all the other efforts she does in other areas to help.

We need more parents like Billie's just based on the fact that they let their 9 year old express herself through hair dyeing. When you give your child that freedom, they feel happy and not like they have to beg you to get their hair done. I am almost 18 and my mom has never once let me dye my hair and that makes me sad. I won't be able to do it in my adult years, as it's considered unprofessional in the workforce, so we should do it while we're young. Hopefully I'll do it when I'm in college.

i resonate with this deeply. my mom never let me dye my hair, she lost it every time i asked her if i could put blue in my hair when i was a teenager. i’m 25 and only just started getting highlights this year. some professional spaces literally couldn’t care less about hair color, we’re moving past that a little as a society. life is too short to not try it at least once :)

I’m in a stem field and after getting my bachelor’s in neuroscience I was a bit worried about my hair being purple and getting a job, but I can attest that people totally seem to care less nowadays and I had no problems getting into a professional laboratory setting! I hope you can have some fun with your appearance as we shift more towards realizing that professionalism and competency in the workforce has little to do with the hair color or piercings you chose!!
