She actually went through a period when she was thinking of suicide. Thankfully she got past that. But in the documentary about Billie..her mother comes to the room as they’re recording “listen before I go” and asks Billie if she’s sure she wants to go that dark for a song. And she also asks “are you seriously implying that you’d jump off the roof?” - and Billie responds “I feel like it’s something I want to have said instead of actually doing it. This song is the reason I DON’T do it.”

Since you love the production so much i just wanna point out that her brother/bestfriend finneas is the one who produces all her songs and they write a lot of the songs together!! Its rare for billie to work with a team and its usually just her and her brother❤

Thank you - I have Billie favorites that I cannot rank from all 3 albums - amongst them "Bad Guy", "idontwannabeyouanymore", "Halley's Comet", "Xanny" and "Happy Than Ever". I'm a 69 yr. old fan who hadn't been to a concert in over 40 years, then saw Billie in St. Paul, MN on March 15, 2022 - Billie was/is awesome. When she sang "No Time To Die", it brought tears to my eyes. I would encourage you now to watch some of the music videos, perhaps beginning with "Bury A Friend", then "When the Party's Over" and possibly next "HOSTAGE" [which is not about love, but obsession], and also the live at the BRITS performance of "NO TIME TO DIE". The BAD GUY video is a fun, playful video.

YESSSS!!! NO TIME TO DIE HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT WHEN I FIRST HEARD THAT SONG!!! Then I played it again and again and again and again... but, as for the music videos, I watched them on my own time because I can no longer do that on KZbin and I will say the meaning of the songs made more sense with the music video aid and they looked so good, as well. I loved your reaction and your editing is superb! I sometimes forget how insanely creative and honest this album is,10/10 for sure. It's crazy how they pulled this off, writing, recording and producing all of that in their childhood home. Also there is some serious bass on here. I have seen her live once and it was incredible. The bass blows you away, all of my organs have been rearranged :D If you can go and watch her live in concert you would love it. Also i second the suggestion of watching the documentary.
