Am I the only one that thinks the opposite of this? No real interviewing skills are being used and if I’m honest it feels slightly awkward 😬 I love Emma and wouldn’t expect her to be an expert in interviewing as this isn’t her profession, but I do feel like she is just agreeing with everything everybody says and there’s no real intrigue into their conversation at all. It’s almost like she’s brushing past whatever they say and not taking it in 😫 I feel really bad saying it but I’m just confused what everybody else is seeing.

@@erkydurky No, you are not. She and the person interviewed gush over each other and mirror their compliments. They smile and smile and like each other and everything else very much. They rarely pass on anything interesting , witty or of essence. But everyone is very excited. They are excited to be at the Met. And it’s soooooo amazing. It’s like, AMAZING!!! And every time they all kill it with their looks, which they don’t understand, like they didn’t understand or care about the theme. (Billie is one of the few well-dressed exceptions, while Emma is a complete shambles, has nothing to do with the theme). The Met has become a venue for commercial opportunities, a marketing circus. Rarely do you actually class or actual radiance. They all hear gilded glamour and they slather themselves in crystals or drape themselves in tons of luxurious material embodying the statue of Liberty, because they can’t think of anything that has the true spirit of the theme in it. It’s all devoid of everything, like the conversations between the guests and the interviewers, be they Emma or whomever else.
