I found I liked Billie's music before my teenage daughter even told me she liked her yet. We thought that was so strange, and then we went to see her live in Kentucky. By far one of the best shows I've witnessed, and I'm a dad with a Slipknot tattoo and one of my best shows was Manson, Slayer at Mayhem Festival 2009. Never giving 2 fuc** what anyone thinks. In 2018 I saw Billie perform for a small radio concert show in a small LA venue. David Grohl was about 30ft in front of me with his daughter at that same concert. After seeing this it all comes full circle.

This is SO life-affirming! I love that Dave brought up Billie wearing the Taylor shirt at her Grammy performance. It's SO heartbreaking to hear how the whole FF fam was at Dave's that night to feel that love OPEN the Grammy broadcast. Dave's daughter was a huge Billie fan from early on, and Dave noted that Billie conveys feelings that her audience all relate to....just like what he saw while a young dude in Nirvana.
