So to me she's saying somethinng like, you call me a friend but treat me like an enemy. Ties into the toxic relationship idea, being emotionally engaged with somebody who actively hurts you. She did an excellent job with The End of The World ! I listen to the original artist, that wrote and sang the song. In my opinion it didn’t even sound like the same song. So Billie said it’s about a toxic relationship as well. The basis is she is at a party, her boyfriend calls yelling and wanting to fight, but she can’t hear, so she’s like I will call you when the party is over. As far as the “relationship” she is saying, I’ve done so much for you, but it never helps, and it’s useless because you are going to fight and leave anyway. She lies to herself saying she likes being alone with him not around, but in reality she is lonely even if it is toxic. So the cycle goes on and on. Great reaction! I love watching you react to these earlier songs of hers, I always liked her music more around this point in time and maybe around a year after, then I lost interest in all things mainstream. This is the first song from her that I saw, and I had a similar experience. Stunned silence. You stated that only a couple of times that someone silenced you like this, I think Hi Ren, by Ren did a pretty decent job of silencing you as well. Plus that was almost a ten minute video!!! I remember being astonished at how intensely you watched, just like this one. Anyway, just my two cents. After this one she came out with Bury a Friend and Bad Guy was after that. I love Bad Guy, as did a lot of other people, so that’s my next reaction suggestion. There is a video for it, it’s her second most viewed after Lovely (the first one you did). Love your videos, you never fail to make me smile.

Ill explain because youre new to the channel, I dont do lyrics, subtitles or anything. Dont agree with that as it ruins the whole experience plus on my return to the tracks I can find new things out. The effort artists put into to writing should mean I return with effort over and over. Always get return repsonses saying"yeah but for this one..." just a big lovable no. I cried the first time I saw this, she looked so broken, a toxic drink for a toxic relationship. She had tubes in her eyes which triggered her Tourette's off while making this video xx
