@@JoeNaeem Well… yes but c’mon, this is a bird standard. Parker was known for his complex improvisation and his crazy lines. It seems as if we are insulting both the musician and listener by suggesting the musicians playing can be easily grasped by us lowely listeners but birds playing would be a bit too much? Maybe I just meant clean, like “smooth.” I can’t be sure. I have no particular opinion or insight to offer on Bird’s playing. It sounds like you have pretty strong feelings about Bird’s playing… feel free to share more about that if you like
