I may live in Iowa but I have been lucky enough to know a few people who live in LA and I know exactly what she means by that line. This song might be one of the best she's ever released. I don't actually realate to the lyrics as much as songs like halleys commet or male fantasy (where I can make direct connections to my personal life experiences) but this song has just so much power and so much feeling that anyone can get worked up listening to this. Some songs billie will sing very soflty and hardly pronouncing the words as if she's talking to herself about those feelings, but not this one. In happier than ever billie knows exactly how she feels and exactly what she wants to say, with so much feeling and pain and anger, I feel like this songs gets progressively heavier and i feel the need to shout the lyrics along with her as if to share I bit to the overwhelmingness on her voice, then suddenly all the weight it's taken off of me once the song it's over, it's brilliantly addictive. the first time I heard this album my first thought was "this sounds like it was written by someone in theapy" and that's the best I can describe it.
