I ran across her autobiography “Lady Sings The Blues”. Billie Holiday with William Duffy and David Ritz. It’s the 60th Anniversary Edition. I am thoroughly enjoying reading or should I say listening to Billie Holiday talk and tell her story. It is truly one of the best reads I’ve enjoyed in a long time. Yes, there was a movie out many years ago with the book title, but I assure you the movie does not do the book justice. The book has so many other details of Billie’s life in which she shares with us. It is truly truly a great read. I say to you please go out and find or order the book. I actually ordered a copy for a family member who introduced me to Billie decades ago when I was much younger than what I am now, however, Billie’s music, nor her story can ever grow old because she was truly one of the greatest of all time.

Type on Google All of me n John Legend comes up , the tune he had a hit with must surely have been influenced by this tune I'd be very suprised if it wasn't, I prefer the originals everytime. I mean it's now as much as a jazz standard as any tune . Love what is possible to play this improvising
