i find the whole concept of hand moistening pretty silly, just a thin coat of superglue creates a strong protective layer for a month. as a bonus you reduce screen time by a lot cause you can't unlock your stupid phone

Love this. To avoid painting the wheels later, unless you want to, you could separate the chassis from the body by drilling out the rivets with a 7/64" bit. That way you wouldn't have to worry about masking the windows, also. Do all your body work and then re-assemble, that would allow you to paint the bars without paint getting on the windows. Finally re-attach the chassis with tiny screw, or glue.

This is great, next time instead of bothering to mask out the windows you can just drill the pins in the bottom and open them up, so you can do whatever to the body, the inside and the base of the hotwheels.
