This game helped pave the way for Pete Carroll's firing and the hiring of Bill Belichick for the Pats. A bunch of players in this game played for both teams: Bledsoe, Gash, Flutie, Antwan Smith, Ted Washington, and possibly others.

Marv Levy was grossly overrated. It was GM Bill Polian who built those teams that went to the 4 Super Bowls--and yet Levy couldn't win even one of them. After Jim Kelly retired he said that Todd Collins would be the next great QB and yet Collins turned out to be a complete bust

Finally!!! Another person saying what I've been saying for years. With all of the superstars those Bills teams had, for them not to win 2 or 3, if not all 4 Super Bowls falls squarely on Marv. That team had great players, but their egos was just as great as their talents. They needed a strong, disciplinarian coach to keep them in check. It's well known they were so cocky that they were partying the night before that 1st SB against the Giants. No other coach would've stood for that. Marv never did anything with KC when he coached in the NFL. So he won championships in the CFL. Big deal! I can't understand why he's in the HoF. It's certainly not because he was a great coach, he just rode the coat tails of great players who needed the right coach.

Talk to me about overrated when Sean "9/11" McDermott can even coach the Bills to a playoff win against KC, let alone a SB win. Unlike Marv Levy, McDermott has had the best QB in the NFL for 6 seasons and he only has an AFCCG loss to show for it. Is McD intentionally waiting til Josh is close to retiring before leading his team to a SB win?

@Brendan-Black Agreed, except Josh bloomed into the best maybe in the last 2 or 3 years, even with all the picks. On another video, I commented that Josh should jump ship and go somewhere else to win a SB. Between the Bills and Sabres, Buffalo has a culture of losing.
