I’m excited to see what Elam can do! If he’s going to be great, he can take over for Douglas. Even though I love Douglas and want him to stick around for a while. Douglas came out and set the tone for the whole game with a few big time tackles!!

UB UFA’s had themselves a night !!! Both Ingram and Lewis have been in the Bills/ system practice squad for several years… and they are coached by the DB whisperer himself McDermot not surprised they are showing out!!!

Cleanest game in the Mcdermott era. It’s never been a talent thing the last few years. It’s been injuries to the d and self inflicted wounds. Couple things I noticed late that won’t show up on the stat sheet that previous teams would have fallen into and let teams back in the game. On the 1st down run late third /early fourth , Cook spins and starts fighting for extra yards on a 1 yarder, notices the defender closing from behind and tucks the ball before they could pop it out or lay a big hit from behind. Prioritizing ball security due to understanding time and score/ game script. Two years ago he gets rocked from behind and probably fumbles fighting for an inconsequential two yards. Then the next play when Kincaid muscles up the field for an additional 4 yards in the flat , Hollins is muscling Holland on a block, Holland in frustration fights back, driving Hollins into the ground / wrestling him while on top of him. Hollins being cool as a fan, doesn’t react. He doesn’t get up and punch him in the helmet or do anything that would warrant a personal foul. Doesn’t allow the refs to get involved. Previous rosters would have struck back and ruined the drive. We still didn’t convert but those heady plays is what mature and mentally strong / smart rosters do and it has been Achilles heel for us over the years. Really good signs.

The Dolphins aren’t that good, not as good as everyone wants them to be, IMO of course. I think Tua’s football career is over as well. Should be anyway. I Enjoy the Podcast guys! Great job 👍

You lost a lot of credibility on your Lewis Ingram discussion. Ingram got lucky three times but was he in good football position on any of them? He needs to have a few more games with him showing he is going to be in good football positions or even always lucky before he bumps Lewis.
