Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at: lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm Take care and love to you all. :)

In my class, my Deaf teacher showed herself signing sentences very cleanly and separated, very easy to catch everything, or most everything, happy to say. That's a third way to make clear. The fourth way, I used the winter break to study a few videos of my teacher signing at full speed, slowing down, pausing, figuring out how to process everything, it totally helped, and I even picked up a few signs. A year and a half ago, my first Deaf teacher, her first time teaching, my receptive was practically non-existent, it got to the point I would just wait for her to sign "Understand?" at the end. Now, my teacher, long-time experience, I'm in good hands, and my receptive like night and day, I'm at the perfect level for it to help the most~

is this video mirrored or not so i can understand if it is my left hand or right hand? or does it not matter?

It is not mirrored. Focus on using your dominant hand for 1-handed signs. If you are right handed, move your right hand when I move my right hand and your left hand when I move my left hand. (Because I'm right-handed.)
