Gagarin was not the first in space, he was the first to return alive. Another cosmonaut was the first, however the re-entry vehicle had such design flaws that the man perished on re-entering the Earth's atmosphere...

NASA had help from the "visitors". Buzz Aldrin use to say they were all followed to the moon by the "visitors" spacecrafts. That is, the Saturn V spacecrafts were protected by a special forcefield against the Van Allen radiation belt to help them successfully get to the moon..😀

Cool now explain how a solid fule rocket motor can gain thrust in a vacuum.. then I might start believing anyone made it much past the stratosphere.
@philbackup3367
@philbackup3367 Ай бұрын
As a former builder of solid fuel rockets, I can tell you that the reason that they don't need an atmosphere to operate is because the composition of the solid fuel contains it's own oxygen which is molecularly integrated into the formula of the fuel. That is, in the fuel composition, the necessary oxygen is locked into a molecule in the fuel, which is realeased as needed by the heat of the burn. Why do you think that submarine launched ballistic missiles all have solid fuel engines?
@philbackup3367
@philbackup3367 Ай бұрын
To put it more simply, the necessary oxygen is itself a part of the fuel's composition.
@paulyagoda142
@paulyagoda142 Ай бұрын
I get that the oxygen in the fuel would account for combustion. And the water would be what the expelling gas could push against to propel it forward. But I don't get how that minute amount of oxygen in an empty vacuum would be anywhere near enough to propel anything forward. @@philbackup3367
