No one from probably from the 3rd century could piece together the life gap between 12 year old and ~30 year old Jesus. Whereas the Gospels' containing the actual story of Jesus are more reliable since they date closer to Jesus' actual lifetime, within the lifetimes of the disciples, and based on the internal evidences. The fact is, that the life of Jesus within and its dating is more evidence than a 20th century book where the guy reading it would have no evidence to even support the arguments that Jesus travelled to these places. Logically it's better to believe something about history when the accounts actually date to that time period with evidence rather than believing and accepting future additions of the accounts lacking evidence and being 1,900 years out of the time period of the original accounts unless recently discovered evidence supports the addition.

(now, I am not saying that her book should’ve been incorporated was just asking who decided that it wasn’t decided what was surprisingly information readily available to anyone who wants to know! I found it interesting that from 12 to 33. There is nothing on Jesus (directly as opposed to his birth to his 12th year and then from his 33rd year to his crucifixion) It’s funny to me that during a time where a person in particularly a man is going to be coming into his hardest times in life finding out who is discovering himself being attracted to women I find it very suspicious that the time where Jesus would have been experiencing puberty, and then becoming a man interacting with women during those times and being the son of God, I do find it fishy and suspicious that all we had is, he was in Nazareth and he went to hell to preach (Peter 3:19) But there’s a whole 21 years basically accounted for!? And I always still wonder was it because there were things written about Jesus during those times and it was unflattering, especially to God or the son of God or actually God (the holy trinity of the New Testament, which tried to combat the contradiction of the Old Testament, thou shall not worship no other God before me for that I am a jealous God with the new testament John 316 God gave his only begotten son for those who believe it in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life!
