Crazy how Coach Billy D turned UF into a power house basketball school. Definitely the foundation was laid by those 2 major pieces to that program.

So many gems. That segment in particular about the perspective about sacrificing but more so the power of believing in that sacrifice. I needed that.

This was awesome! Billy Donovan is a legend along with these guys who built the foundation of the team who made it to '99-'00 NCAA Championship, something most people did not think could happen after Lon Kruger got us there in '94. Great podcast Mike and Udonis, hope to see more former Gators on here, great to see the different generation of Gators on here!

I remember playing in the Dodge Shootout in Gainesville over the summer in high school. OG was supposed to be the new T-Mac. I was scared to ask UD for an autograph. Lol. Great time playing against Kwame Brown, Nick Calathes, Chandler Parson. Great time meeting UD, Brent Wright, Teddy D, Ladarius Halton, good times thanks Coach Billy D.

Mike/UD, doubt y’all see this, but one of my favorite memories as a kid was this one time @ UF basketball camp where UD was coaching a team of 10yr olds. All the UF players coached and/or refereed the games all the campgoer’s, and UD’s team lost vs my team (can’t even remember my coach lol) in the finals due to a bad call from one of the other players. UD’s reaction would make Bobby Knight blush. It was admittedly a little scary at the time but I believe UD had to be physically restrained from fighting one his teammates who was refereeing a camp ball game. From there on it was no surprise that UD won wherever he went. Nobody can teach you that type of competitiveness. As an old 34 yo with 3 kids now thank you guys & coach, of course, for the memories as a kid. Congrats on all of y’all’s successes in life, #1 of course is being good fathers. Looking forward to more of this!

Udonis Haslem’s statement about people who have a degree is wild and very poor. I see why dude can’t even talk without cursing left and right. I glad the coach as a smart man educated him. Dude you are lucky because you were gifted with body that allowed you to play a sport that goes and match perfectly with the size that you have. So, instead talking down on people that were not built with the size that you have, the height that you have, the potential that you have a sport, say thanks to God bro.
