So sad. First time I have seen these news reports. I discovered him a couple of years ago on KZbin. Was just a kid when he was at his prime. Thank you.

Billy was my very first crush. My bedroom wall was covered in his photos. I saw him sing live on stage 3 times. A humble man who loved wildlife.

Always sad to remember this but you’ve put together a wonderful tribute compilation here. Many thanks for your efforts. Subscribed to catch up as being a long time fan since ‘61. Dx

My aunt adored Billy Fury. A few weeks after she died my Alexa randomly played Maybe Tomorrow as I came through the back door. No one else was home to instruct Alexa!

64 year old men do not cry at old news clips. I must have something in my eyes or hay fever.

I cried when John Lennon died, and I cried when Billy Fury died. A sad moment captured in time through the coming of home video.

Halfway to paradise was originally a Tony Orlando hit. Not a lot of people know that.

WHEN LENNON DIED ...I WAS JUST A 13 YEAR OLD BOY ....WHEN BILLY DIED ...I WAS 16 YEARS OLD ...JOHN LENNON I DID KNOW WHO HE WAS THEN ALREADY ....BILLY FURY I DID NOT TBH ....BUT NOWDAYS EVEN THAT LAST YEAR WHEN I WENT TO LIVERPOOL I GOT MYSELF TAKEN A PHOTOGRAPH WITH HIS STATUE AT THE LIVERPOOL WATERFRONT....I EVEN KNOW HE WAS SUCH AN ELVIS PRESLEY FANATIC ...THAT HE USE TO DO HIS HAIR , USE TO DRESS LIKE HIM....AND EVEN WENT TO MEET HIM TO THE U.S.A. BACK IN 1962 ( MIND YOU I WASN;T EVEN BORN THEN )...BUT NOW AT 57 YEARS OF AGE I GET TO KNOW A LOT MORE ABOUT BILLY ...AND HIS AWESOME MUSIC ....HE WAS TRULY THE ENGLISH ELVIS PRESLEY 😭😭😭🏴👍🏻🙏🏻 WHAT A BLEEDING TALENT HE TRULY WAS🎵😭😭😭💥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🏴🏴🏴👍🏻🙏🏻
