I was brought up on sixties music, and you cannot beat it today. Billy, was the UK version of Elvis. Billy Fury, was a brilliant singer. And sadly missed, I visit his grave each time l visit my father. Its Only Make Believe, was my favourite hit from Billy.Sadly missed

Saw this guy at Great Yarmouth years ago way way back in the 60s when I was just 15 yrs old although I'm a true Elvis fan Billy Furry was a great performer !!!

Gill Jackson With you, Gill. I'm now 77 yo. First saw Billy on the 'Oh! Boy' show, on TV in 1958. He had GREAT style!! I have a couple of CDs by him...I'm in Australia now...when I first saw him[Oh! Boy], I was living in England, my "Home Town". Have you checked out [by Billy], "Turn my back on you" via You Tube? Love it! Great "Rockabilly"! XX let me know...PLEASE!! XX

Billy looks dreadfully frail, but he puts his heart and soul into this poignant performance. Four days later, he was gone..... He was a class act, just ask Alex Turner of The Arctic Monkeys. "The Sound Of Fury" is still one of the greatest pre Beatles rock'n'roll albums, along with the second Gene Vincent album.

+Selene Jones He had rhuematic fever as a child, and had heart problems all his life.Had surgery, but had a heart attack 4 days after this was recorded.

That was such a wonderful performance & to know he passed only 4 days later is so sad . Loved Billy all my life since hearing him late 50s 60s . Let’s keep his memory alive & ALL the songs he sang , not to forget his caring for his beloved animals & nature . Regrettably I never saw him in concert . 🧚🏼♂️🧚🏿♀️🧚🏿♀️
