I was brought up on sixties music, and you cannot beat it today. Billy, was the UK version of Elvis. Billy Fury, was a brilliant singer. And sadly missed, I visit his grave each time l visit my father. Its Only Make Believe, was my favourite hit from Billy.Sadly missed

Gill Jackson With you, Gill. I'm now 77 yo. First saw Billy on the 'Oh! Boy' show, on TV in 1958. He had GREAT style!! I have a couple of CDs by him...I'm in Australia now...when I first saw him[Oh! Boy], I was living in England, my "Home Town". Have you checked out [by Billy], "Turn my back on you" via You Tube? Love it! Great "Rockabilly"! XX let me know...PLEASE!! XX

WOW..!! Gill...do hope you see my REPLY...Just caught up with your "comment" about BILLY... Gill, you took a great deal of trouble to comment! Appreciate that, really..! I've worked out that you are around 3 years my "junior". I'm 78 now, 79... August 30... The show you saw[at the Granada] sounds like an "Oh boy " show..?! I'm so late with this...DAMN!! You take care...Please get back XX My wife [Adele] and I have a Rockabilly Dance on August 5...we're in Australia...since 1982...from Essex UK...Keeparockin' Gill... XX [J n A]

Billy looks dreadfully frail, but he puts his heart and soul into this poignant performance. Four days later, he was gone..... He was a class act, just ask Alex Turner of The Arctic Monkeys. "The Sound Of Fury" is still one of the greatest pre Beatles rock'n'roll albums, along with the second Gene Vincent album.

That was such a wonderful performance & to know he passed only 4 days later is so sad . Loved Billy all my life since hearing him late 50s 60s . Let’s keep his memory alive & ALL the songs he sang , not to forget his caring for his beloved animals & nature . Regrettably I never saw him in concert . 🧚🏼‍♂️🧚🏿‍♀️🧚🏿‍♀️
