I saw him at a tiki lounge just hanging out (apparently he is a local regular) and didn't want to bother him. But my friend saw how excited I was and I wouldn't shut up so he casually mentioned to Billy when ordering a drink that I wouldn't stop talking about a collab he did with Rodney Crowell. He asked me to come over, spent a few minutes chatting with me very kindly and asked me if I wanted a photo. Just a sweetheart of a person.
