Billy grahams sermons saved me from alcoholism and gave me a need for Jesus christ and new hope for my future, a day hasn't gone by for the past 6 months almost that I have not thought of the Lord and felt guilty for my sin, I pray daily now and I hope I will continue to grow closer to my father in heaven, thank you Billy for your preaching in my times of sorrow. My life and mental and physical health have greatly improved significantly since taking up the cross and thanking the Lord for his sacrifice. 🙏🏼

About 32 years ago, I asked God's help to stop drinking. That instant, He took away my obsession with drink and has allowed me to live sober ever since. But it did not stop there... I had to do the work necessary to reorder priorities in my life, sweep away the rubbish of the past, and practice a new life living under God's Will, not mine, each and every day. Do I perform this perfectly? Of course not. It takes daily steps towards progress, not perfection. One day at a time. What I have done perfectly so far is to never, ever take that first drink of alcohol. Highly recommend you find a good AA group that studies the Big Book and focuses on working the 12 Steps. A step program, though can be helpful, is not necessary for freedom from addiction or freedom in general. My opinion and only my experience is opening up the bible everyday and praying to an Almighty God has set me free to chose not to drink alcohol for 4 + years. Not judging step programs. I'm not very experienced with them. What my experience is, I asked God to deliver me from myself and my obsession with alcohol. He did. That's when I realized the closest I could be to God and knowing him is by opening the bible everyday and reading his actual words. I didn't go to the AA classes for help. I know someone who did go to AA meetings and still does and has not slipped back into the incredible bondage of addiction. Nor have I or want that or desire it. Christ is the truth, the truth has set me free, free indeed.

And then after that The Saddens news in 2018 ….. 30 years later . He passed away. Sought of the Greatest Evangelist of Our Time . Ever since I listened to Him more so than ever . And let me tell You ? It’s hard Real Hard following Jesus Christ . I have faced many many Challenges . I have been a TOTAL flop of Failures . It’s Evident I go to Church, I Pray . Billy Graham's words ring prophetic not just for America but for the whole world. The only answer is for people to return to God. We are living in very dark times and God is the only one with the answers which are all in His Word in the Bible. Whatever ails you open His Word read it, ask the Lord Jesus into your heart as Lord and Saviour and ask Him to fill you with his Holy Spirit. The Bible says "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. He's not a motivational speaker! He speaks the truth of the gospel, the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. He wants everyone to know the saving knowledge of Jesus.
