I worked with Colten for about a year. He was a supervisor at a construction company here in playa vista. We joked a lot. Had a lot of conversations.. NOT once did I know he’s dad was Billy gun 😂 until one day he pop up on the wrestling world. He’s a great humble person. Wish nothing but the best

Whenever there’s discussions about wrestling families, people tend to sleep on how great Billy Gunn was to the industry and continues to be, and to acknowledge his son’s accomplishments throughout their own legacies and at the same time paying homage to their own legacy with the Gunn family name….. in the top 20 of wrestling families for sure….. out of respect and I think Billy might agree here, number 20 of the top 20….. and again no disrespect at all but there’s just soooo many wrestling families out there, the Gunn’s are for sure top 10 great workers (entire family as a group)

Putting those pictures up next to each other is suggesting that’s how Billy looked when he first debuted. He debuted in like 93 as “smoking gunn” Billy Gunn alongside Bart. In that aspect/regard Colten does have a bigger body and more toned physique. But putting 98-99 Billy Gunn next to his son clearly shows Billy already jacked and having been in the company 5-6 years at that point.

I got to meet Billy Gunn at an amusement park in the early 90s. At the time, he was doing a cowboy gimmick in a tag team called the Smoking Gunns. You don't realize on TV, but both guys were two of the biggest men I'd ever seen in person. Both were at least 6 foot 4, and with their cowboy boots and hats, they looked like they stood nearly 7 feet tall. Just to see the size of their hands was impressive. Literally double the size of my hands. Obviously next to some of the big men of WWE they looked normal-ish, but in a crowd of 'civilians', they stood head and shoulder over everyone and literally looked like giants. Was really impressive. Wonder what it's like to meet Sid or Big Show. . .
