I always thought he was a moron for doing this-the average Russian musician would have to work and save a for a lifetime to afford that equipment. If they could even get it. He could have donated the gear instead.

He didn’t break or ruin delicate instrument He flipped over a Yamaha electric suitcase piano. Those things were built like a tank for touring. They flipped that thing back over and used it in the next show. Maybe even the same night.
