Here's the thing about Rose He could simply sing every song in a lower register and still sound fantastic But he doesn't do that. Instead he says f*** it. I'm going to go for it I have more respect for the man who tries and fails than the man who plays it safe That's rock n roll bitches

I'd have more respect for an artist that is always learning and improving technique to give the crowd a worthy performance, no matter the register. That's greatness, not "just going for it" and sounding like a clown. Elton John is a great example. He sounds incredible at his age in a lower register, and the crowd doesn't care.,

You have to take in to account that he was singing one song this night and not having to save his voice to perform an entire show. Just look at Paul Stanley performing with the Foo Fighters. He sounded great, but it would be impossible to sound that clear for an entire Kiss show.

Good for him, not easy to get back to your 20s at 50s but he is pulling off again. His smoking almost took away his singing like it almost did to Liam Gallagher and it took him years to get voice back also.
