My son has Cerebral Palsy and is 17 now. He can't walk talk or eat, but I couldn't love him any more than I do. When this song came on one day when we were together, it summed it up perfectly. "I don't need clever conversation. I just need someone I can talk to". This is my song to my son Fischer. Its our song

Billy Joel write this for his first wife and not long afterwards, they divorced. He refused to play it live for many years. He also realized shortly after that it seemed to be a curse for him: dedicating songs (writing them) for certain loved ones, said they always would split (much like Taylor Swift’s music). So. Good luck on your marriage. I’m sure divorce isn’t in your future. 😂

Bangers? I'm not gonna be that old grumpy asshole that is always on your ass to remind you its "carefully structured artwork" or some shit but if there was one word I could describe a real good song, whether it be happy, sad, nostalgic, depressing, angry, or anything. Maybe not bangers. This songs lyrics and meaning are pretty happy, but the song itself sounds pretty sad/nostalgic. The drums play a big part. I think the best word to describe this song would be "creation"

Your parents share a love, that today's generation could only dream of. I pray you carry their love with you into your own, and pass this along for generations to come. I envy your parents love because I myself, yearn for a love like this, although it seems I will never receive it, there I'd always a chance God will lead me to it. Cherish this, love.😘

Explore the rest of his catalogue, especially those that are album songs and not just well-known hits. However, if just starting, the hits are a good springboard. I suggest "Piano Man" and make sure you find the full version (for some reason my CD copy they shortened it and cut out two verses). Also suggest "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant", "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)" and "She's Always a Woman" as starters.
