I always have been more interested in rock, metal, and blues. I just always thought bluegrass guitarists were good, but just wanted to convert their techniques to metal and rock. After a couple months of discovering Billy Strings’ music, I have seen him bringing rock and metal into bluegrass. Now, I have just fallen in love with bluegrass, and it’s all Billy’s fault.

Billys first gig was in a metal band, sounds like U r on a similar path! I love it all, ive gone to see bill monroe and david sanborn the jazz sax player in the same week.

@@christophergermany7871 i hear u. For me improv jammin is like sex, doesnt always click but when its good its great! If u have to think about it u aint doin it right, it just needs to flow out. Its like u dont have to think about each word u speak, it just comes out. In this jam these r variations on old bluegrass standards, neither have to think about where the tune goes next just how to push the limit of the skills Sorry rambling on...

Figured out it, four months later - it's Salt Creek (with a bit of Billy/Bryan's "Salty Sheep" riff as well). That's why Sierra's eyes glow when she recognizes it.
