Thank god for this man, the only person on youtube making Billy Strings lesson videos. Seasoned guitarist but very new to Bluegrass theory, so these are a major help!

Another excellent lesson from Marcel! To us learning bluegrass picking Marcel really is a treasure. He is so good at explaining everything carefully, simply presented but totally appropriate for absolute beginners and equally the more advanced. Not only is he a great teacher and has a great bedside manner, full of charm and highly intelligent but he takes care to put together his videos in a professional manner, using more than one camera and uses the green screen to show the transcriptions plus his playing.

Good lord the jump from .75x to normal playback is insane lmaooo. Got it down all nice and tight on .75x and figured I was ready to bump it up but WOOOO BOY I forgot how dumb fast this break is 🥵

I’ve been trying to figure out how to play “Likes of Me” by Tony Rice and I haven’t been able to quite get it down. I was wandering if you could do a tab for it? That would be a huge help. Thanks

Bro, I wanted to learn that song so bad. If you download the app Snippz, watching it in slow motion you’ll be able to pick up what he’s doing.

I can’t seem to grasp why some tutorials feel the need to add so much information. I’m sure those who are into learning music theory it’s great. For the rest of us, not so much. I was like AAAAARGH! JUST SHOW ME HOW TO PLAY IT ALREADY! Regardless, thanks for posting.
