I didn't know that he used his 25 year old self as Fry. It still sounds like him but not that he was thinking of 25. I like how he uses Larry as his inspiration for Stimpy. I think that's why Peter Cullen's Optimus is so iconic. He used his older brother as inspiration.

I completely agree with that last part on impressions. Mark Hamill was doing an impression of Claude Rains in The Invisible Man for his take on Joker, but since it was a terrible impression few people know about nowadays, he created the most iconic voice of the character.

When I first heard Fry's voice I thought it sounded really familiar, I've heard it before. Then I got it: Stimpy!

He looks puffy like Norm MacDonald did before he passed. He has gained a lot of what looks like water weight in five years. I think he's undergone some sort of chemo treatment. Seeing him from 2018 is just startlingly different.
