While Billy and Jim make valid points about how some people want to rush a career for fame and glory, many young people want to jump into the VO community because it's an alternative job that is much more flexible and less demanding at times compared to the modern job market today, especially with how expensive the cost of living is these days.

Hell I wanted to be a voice actor in the 2000s because of thinking it'd be more flexible and less demanding.. I had no idea it really wasn't, and involves a ton of running around and self-promotion and other stuff I really can't do. Did get representation at one point, they sent me all of two auditions. Wasted the best years of my life on a crummy 13 dollar an hour job reading online spots for used cars. meh.

3:45 Paragon Park! Closed in the 80s but the big wood coaster was moved to Six Flags America near DC called Wild One. A great ride. I’ve worked as a creative in that industry and it’s rare today to hear mention of these great classic amusement parks. A few still exist that offer rides from a forgotten era, namely ones along both coasts like Santa Cruz and Coney Island and a few in Pennsylvania (Kennywood and Knoebels are gems).

Not to be rude, but you do understand that your audience is mostly comprised of fans from your cartoon work in the 80's and 90's yes? We're not children anymore, we're now between 35 - 45 years old. Do you also understand that's old enough to have known about, seen, or at the very least have and inkling of older performers like Don Rickles and Johnny Carson? I really do love old stories, but if you're including your audience, please remember to whom you're pandering. I do NOT doubt in my mind that there are some curious children and teenagers watching this (and maybe faithfully!) but I couldn't imagine those are the main people watching this. When we were children, it was fine to speak to us as we were children, but now as an adult, I only respectfully ask that we are spoken to as such. That aside, thank you though for all of the time and effort and thoughtfulness you've put into this, and mostly being an upright and outstanding group of people!
