Billy never fails to impress with these videos. I've been thinking for YEARS that strafing left/right isn't good because I figure you lose speed, but I didn't even begin to realize I should use it to compensate for mouse drift. I thought I just wasn't moving my mouse as fast as these young zoomers. Can't wait to drill this

this is probably the most eye opening, but hardest, video to train my brain to do. The idea of strafing is not new, at all, but trying to build and edit while doing it is very tough and may require keybind adjustment. However, Q & E, which are the biggest two factors in preventing me from holding down strafing, are pretty popular. Something is not clicking my tired, old brain.

Try to find the reason you lose the opponent..maybe too consentrated on building, maybe spacial awareness(after few 90's not knowing the direction, climbing up or dropping down not sure which level you are compared to opponent etc.) If you know the reason(s) you can look for solution(s)
@MrSmashandgrab
@MrSmashandgrab 2 жыл бұрын
@@egonp174 I don't know... that's the problem ; (. It's fine in solos. It happens in duo or trios when my team mates are on height with a trio and I have to get in it. I build up but have no idea where anyone is but my teammates (since I can see them). I can hear everything everywhere but I can never find them.
@egonp174
@egonp174 2 жыл бұрын
@@MrSmashandgrab how good is the communication in your team? If youre able to find them and they let you know whats going on, you should be able to at least find opponents. If you can watch replays, compare what you taught happend to what you see in replays, it could give you clues on what you are missing

Also, I found an old mouse with 2 side buttons & idk the dpi on it & it’s hard to find my sensitivity. On controller i played on 80% 80% & i was a monster but on KBM i try to turn my sens up nd its good for building but bad aim & if i lower it, it’s good for aim but bad building. I cannot find a middle ground. Any Tips?
