Yes Billy Graham brought a lot of people to Christ 😮and yet there are Christians who say that he was a false pastor 😒 I just can't believe that..I'll say this, Billy Graham saved millions of souls from going straight to hell..more than I can say about the pastors today 😮praise God and thank you Billy Graham 😀

How about some more? In 1971 in Dallas TX Billy stated, " the word satan comes from a Greek Word, and the word devil comes from another Greek word", i guess Billy the man sent by God didn't know that the word satan is found in a couple of verses in the old testament, the Hebrew writing, long before there was a Greek nation. In 1971 sermon at Chicago Billy stated," Jesus stood in front of the people of His generation and said, "I never commited a sin, He said did any of you, my neighbors see Me commit a sin" ! Nowhere in scripture are these things recorded, billy put words in Jesus's mouth, things He never said! Scripture states that this is the kind of thing that false prophets do! In 1980 Reno NV sermon Billy stated, "Jesus said, you have been searching for the truth, your tired, I am the way, the truth and the life, you found it, the search ends with Me"! This sermon was in reference to Matthew 11, nowhere in those verses is it recorded that Jesus said all that, nowhere in scripture are these words of God written anywhere, once again billy put words in Jesus's mouth that He never said. In 1989 at Syracuse NY sermon on Exodus 7:13-14 billy stated, "Pharaoh's heart was hardened, he didn't listen to Moses, he hardened his heart"! Billy kept illustrating how the Pharaoh hardened his own heart against Moses and against God. However in Exodus 7:3., it is plainly written that God was the one who hardened Pharaoh's heart, in fact it is stated in Exodus 8:19, 9:12, 10:27, 14:4,17, that God hardened Pharaoh's heart, however these truths didn't fit into Billy's false teachings. In 1991 sermon from Seattle WA billy stated," Jesus went to hell and spoke of the ten commandments, stating we are to obey them, that we are still under those laws" umm didn't Jesus free us from the laws of the Old Testament, are we not under His Grace? There are still more examples if how Billy's sermon teachings contradict plainly written scripture! May God guide you from these false teachings to the truth of His word, not the interpretations of men!

No one man can follow the word of god 100% because of our sin and because we all interprete things differently. How do you know how god wants us to view his word? Did god tell you that? How are we suppose to learn if everyone like you acts like a know it all? Billy was the closest to the word of god. Btw the bible contradicted itself a few times due to different contexts of what god was attempting to tell us. Billy was a good man, shame for you to try and dirty his name because he was a imperfect human like us. Also he did say he didnt know everything in the bible. The bible can be viewed in different perspectives, doesn't make you a false teacher because you seen a piece of scripture differently. Billy brought many people to christ and gave jesus the credit. Your the type of guy that the scripture would say 'he had a cat' and someone say 'there was a cat' and say that 'oh he put words in his mouth ohh false preacher!'

@@listings404 there is a huge difference between interpretation of a verse, and reciting the verse as it is written. Yes people can interpret verses differently, however when someone outright ignores or deny what is plainly written, then there is a problem. Billy repeatedly ignored verses within a chapter in order to proclaim his version of the gospel, he also outright denied verses that were related to the topic of the his teaching, verses that contradicted what he wanted to say. If God plainly stated hell was this or that, and someone came along and said hell was this or that, who then is wrong, God speaking the plain words of God, or the person trying to put words in God's mouth? Billy stated that we can get our name written into the book of life now, yet the word of God says the book of life Was Already Written, with its names already recorded at the foundation of the world, who then is correct, billy or the true words of God? Finally there are a few sermon teachings of Billy's that contradict his other sermon teachings, in one sermon he says this and in another he contradicts his own teachings, would God send a man to teach a doctrine that conflicts with its self, with conflicting teachings, or would God send a person whose teachings all line up within each other, not conflicting, and not contradicting the plainly written words of God. Therefore a man of God would not teach a conflicting, contradiction to the plainly written words of God!

I have similar issues. I pray and talk to God all the time about those things. I know God has carried me through all the storms in my life, He still is. He will never leave us even if humans do. I know that whatever is going on , God will mend you, and use the suffering that you experienced to help someone else. I praise God and pray for you to get past this , in Jesus’s name, Amen
