I bought a 2002 FLSTFI brand new b/c I wanted the dependability of EFI. And it’s been dependable. I had my front end apart the second day of ownership starting with all the change outs. I modified mine early on by welding two fender blanks together and creating a taildragger fender, along with custom water-jetted curved struts with flame lick ends. Installed new Big Dog mags, raised the front of the fuel tank and stretched it. Pull back drag bars and it’s off to the beach. It doesn’t look like a FB too much anymore.
