I've been a premiere pro user for over 10 years and just recently switched to davinci resolve in middle of last year so I'm constantly looking for new things to learn and this channel is perfect for that, thanks! 👍
@BillyRybka
@BillyRybka 4 жыл бұрын
Wow man, that's huge that you switched after 10 years. What was your biggest reason? Thanks man :) glad you find value in the videos!
@MarquezDaniel
@MarquezDaniel 4 жыл бұрын
@@BillyRybka the biggest reason was because premiere pro kept crashing on me multiple times a day and when you got deadlines to meet that's a no no. I seriously thought something was wrong with my computer but after doing some research it turned out I wasn't the only one. I had heard of davinci resolve before but seeing as I was using premiere pro for the past 10 years you can see how one can get real comfortable with a particular software and not willing to switch to something new. Finally I eventually got tired of all the crashes so I had no choice but to switch to davinci resolve, I absolutely love it! It has everything that I need and don't regret switching, it's honestly a great program that gets overlooked. And did I mention it's free! 🤯

Subscribed! like it that you make the tutorials detailed but as quick and as humanly possible! =) I think anything over 10mins is a bit long. 5mins is just a bout right but i think for this transition, 8 mins is fantastic. for 2020, ive always wanted to do a dope and hyperlapse, Ive tried but my shots arent always great, so i end up not doing them at all in post. I know its not really editing but thats my goal this year. =)

I love your channel! Short, clear and helpful. Why did you do that in the color tab and not in Fusion? I am at the point where I find myself struggling to decide if I should do things in color tab or fusion tab... And another video suggestion: can you go through the tools and what do with them in one video? I can't find this kind of video anywhere because people usually just mention that hey we use this tool today, but this, this and this is also cool, buy the explanation stops there. It's really hard to wrap my head around with all the possibilities when I have to look for one tool at the time and watch zillions different videos 😂😁

I wonder if it is possible to do that affect with not a picture (jpeg) but with another clip. For example, a person stands and looking at effel tower, and shot is from behind. Then, effel tower changes to Versalle and then camera moves around a subject from back to front and subject still in Versalle garden. That would be fun to do.
