- I can say from experience that the only way you will get good at guitar and learn is to just keep playing. Your fingers will actually build up calluses over time and this will help to protect your fingers. Once you get past that point, you’re basically home free! What I would also suggest you do is purchase a hand trainer. Essentially this will help to strengthen your fingers and grip strength, which will in turn help you to press the strings down easier. This should also help cut down on some of the discomfort.

Tip for anyone still trying to learn this song, it is much easier to play it fingerstyle if you can't play well with a pick, so it might not hurt to try that out first. (but of course dont forget about your picking you need to improve that eventually)

Thanks man. I haven‘t played the guitar in more than 6 years because I lost motivation and depression kicked in. I‘ve been wanting to play for the past year, but always procrastinated on it. Some times I did tried to do some, but yeah, Im basically level one again after having played half of my life before. Playing songs I listen to give me motivation. That‘s my first time I did something today and I learned it just in after 15min. Thank you man, this is such a better coping tool than all the other stuff I was addicted on 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Because of the change in the original mix of the song, there are many ways to play it, the one you showed in the video is correct, but in different pitches and in different chords you can get a result closer to what you have in the Star song mall

The reason the guitar in the song sounds "warped" is due to a mechanic they used on the guitar sample itself. This mechanic is called vibrato and it is used to describe notes when they shift pitch up and down at a constant rate. The pitch shifts are usually very small and barely impact the song. That is why it won't sound accurate with a normal guitar.

If u get guitar tuna, tune the low e, a, and d strings to negative six and then you can play along with the song. hope it helps 😊

As a producer ive reproduced the song and yes the pitch is bent lower and there is a shit ton of wet signal from reverb on it so that dampens the higher parts too so it’s basically impossible to play the actual exact notes but that is very good tutorial man. The guitar in actual version of the song is tuned slightly flat I don't know if he purposefully tunes his guitar that way or if he just hardly ever tunes his guitar

it's most likely that the sample was warped during the sampling process. Whether intentionally or not, I'm not sure.
