It says on his website that he has the uncanny ability to manage to pull in crowds/fans from EVERY CORNER of the music/live music scene! I see a lot of people in his comments all saying they always hated bluegrass or country and have primarily been metal heads or hip-hop heads or something, but all absolutely love billy and say how talented he is. His album renewal has just about every genre mixed in with it, crazy work tbh coz people usually stick to their preferred genres but Billy can't be defined by a single genre he crosses genres and boundaries!!

You lucky bastards! I recently discovered Billy, and I'd love to see him live! I got no one to go with though, my younger brother went to see Korn with me in January, and he's not a fan of theirs but he enjoyed the show, but he absolutely hates country and bluegrass. I did see Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd with my mom in the last few years... 🤔

Billy's Strings's Quartet is as tight as tight can be. When Billy finally got a talent like Jarrod's on mandolin, everything fell into place for him, and he sure deserved it too! What Billy didn't deserve was this damned pandemic! None of us did, but I don't thing the rest of us were at the top of our game like Billy, and I'm only guessing here, but his expenses must be through the roof. When I was a printer there was a fairly common saying: "if you're losing a Penney a copy, you can always make it up with a hugh volume." To most folks, that sounds ridiculous, but I'll bet it's his insane schedule that keeps him afloat on the road. My heart goes out to those guys. I hope whatever happens to end our nation's quarantine, happens good, happens soon, and happens to Billy Strings's Quartet! They don't only cover Dead tunes, in many ways they also emulate the spirit of the Grateful Dead, and the entire, New Frontier's, Flower Power movement!

My second day in Colorado I drove past the Mishawaka Amphitheatre. My friend told me it's a cool music venue, Billy played there. I'm officiating his wedding there this spring. Then I'm head banging to this song on stage dressed as a priest.

I've been trying to introduce Billy and his sounds to my more serious music loving friends. I've played and deeply enjoyed music, with a critical ear, for over 30 years, and Billy Strings, w/o a doubt, is one of the all time greats, already nearing legendary status, I can only imagine what Billy/crew have in store for us, in the future, to love, share , grow, and evolve while enjoying. This is "my shit"!

Through the turmoil and the tinfoil I could wait my early life I can see you in the darkness And I'm running through the night I recall a silver morning When your face had turned to gray You were standing right before me But I missed you every day Though you never said you're sorry I forgave you even then But I feel inconsequential In the current state I'm in But I'll try to keep on living Through the nauseating gloom And I'll try to keep on digging Wretched past I will entomb Though you never said you're sorry I forgave you even then But I feel inconsequential In the current state I'm in Through the turmoil and the tinfoil Just the way it used to be But I have the strength and I will learn How to fly on broken wings Though you never said you're sorry I forgave you even then But I feel inconsequential In the current state I'm in . . . .
