I don't drink and have never touched drugs, either. I don't go to bars, but I've been to weddings, birthday parties and other events where there is alcohol served, but I've found it more entertaining watching others making fools of themselves after getting smashed. I am so proud of you taking a stand in that issue. Thank you for doing this one. Tim's face as the night goes on cracked me up. lol!

Yep me too... No drugs and only drink to toast the holidays. The rest of the year no alcohol. (Not because of any prior alcohol addictions, just don't need it) I've been to bars, picnics, games and camping with friends where their is booze but I don't need it to have a good time or face my life. Keeping it real for me.

I like wine with dinner or a nice tropical based drink. Not something I have to have, but it's nice once in a while. The key is being responsible with it, which is why I love the fact that Rob left with his wife, and the rest of the guys made sure no one drove drunk. You'd be fine where I go to karaoke. It's mostly bikers and veterans, so they'd be cool with you :)

Having made quite a bit of alcohol myself, mead mostly, I can tell you the mass media's "you have to drink to have fun" thing is absolute garbage. I got drunk once in my life, when I turned 21, to see what all the fuss was about. I wasn't impressed. Never been drunk again since (almost 30 years later). The stuff I make or buy to drink, I get a glass, sit down, enjoy it, and that's it. All the fun comes from the people I'm around and the good times we have together. Having said that, I entirely respect your choice not to drink. It's wiser to do that than to buy into the BS the media is spoon-feeding everyone.

Never having a drop is not a failure, it's a success I've drank more than enough for both of us (and some others). I'm 62, and we drink about once a week (casual family drinking). They all drink gin, which I don't like. I drink rum, whiskey,, or beer.

I have drank, but never enough to forget what happens the next day, and never enough to pass out. I might drink once in a great great while. Like once or twice a year, and even then like one tiny glass. I don't get people who drink enough to pass out drunk, what's the fun of that? Especially when you might throw up the next day, or have a horrible headache, no thank you.

That's the problem with people...they think they can't have any fun without alcohol and it's a cryin shame that they think this way. I don't drink nor do I do drugs never have tried drugs, I have had sips of alcohol and you're not missin anything by not drinkin' it. I happen to be the only adult in my family who doesn't drink and I have a blast watchin everyone else get hammered I don't think I've ever laugh so hard in my life after watchin drunk folks makin a complete fool of themselves :P no disrespect to anyone who drinks and gets smashed...you just might brighten the night for someone doesn't drink.
