Don’t give our age out😂 The song started playing and it’s amazing how the lyrics so easily started flowing from my mouth! I’m 41! NKOTB got me in big trouble back in the day. My parents gave me $5 to go into the store with specific instruction to buy 1 onion and bring back the change. Well, 30 minutes later out I come with no change and a HUGE button of Donnie!😂 My sweet parents actually let me keep it!! Want to hear about the time I was about to start 5th grade and bought a NKOTB backpack? 😂 Went to Wieners (doesn’t exists anymore) and the last one was on a mannequin. Yep! you guessed it. My parents grabbed it and I was the happiest incoming 5th grader that ever lived!!😂

Me too! Saw them in Houston 5/15/19...I won 4 tickets from a local radio station and none of my friends could go, so my hubby was a good sport and drove me as it was 5 days before my first cataract surgery at 38. He sat on his phone the whole time while I screamed like a teenager 😂. I tell everybody it was a 30 year old dream come true, I've loved them since I was 8 but never had the opportunity to see them in concert til then. I hope to see them at least once more (if Covid allows) before they decide to quit doing concerts lol. Donnie was who I had the biggest crush on as a little girl, I even had a Donnie doll back in the day! 😂

I was 14 and a HUGE fan. Like I used to sit outside of their houses fan. I’m 45 now and am still friends with some of the girls I met outside those houses (Some coming from other countries to do so!). It was nuts! They sold out stadiums back when arenas were where most groups played.

Hey @BillyYSC, not only was (and is) Donnie in the group, his younger brother Mark Wahlberg (who later on had a hit with "Good Vibrations" as Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch) was an original member before they made it big. I can't remember the whole back story but they had a different line up temporarily when they were known locally as Nynuk before they changed their name to New Kids On The Block (later shortened to NKOTB in the 90's). I still have their very first album on cassette tape 😂

Oh yeah this song brings me way back. I was 13 when this album came out, and hailing from Massachusetts myself, these guys had that extra special place in my heart. Finally got to see them live a couple years back for the first time, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I still listen to this album more than 30 years later and I’ll Be Loving You Forever is still high on my list of favorites, but I preferred Jordan’s voice over Joey’s, even after Joey’s voice cracked and got much deeper than it was in this song. Though, this song also sounds good with Joey’s deeper voice. 😁
