Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club President and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
I enjoy watching videos especially singing performances and react to them.
I keep my reactions real and natural.

Unfortunately she is one of the most underrated singers in Malaysia.. apparently people in Malaysia sees her as shouting all the time and too dramatic in her singing.. Personally i love her ! I am one of her fan and i think she is soo skillful and a very technical singer.. she’s very good with her dynamics and headvoice. Sad fact is : there are many technical singers in Malaysia (namely Aina Abdul, Ernie, Idayu, Indah, Marsha, Salma n many more).. not being well received by the Malaysian listeners. It’s even sad when these singers struggle like hell with this biz in order to be accepted by the Malaysians.. even until today. Sigh! 😤 Thank you for your honest reaction. Kudos to you. I am proud to see ppl who sees the potential in her and also the rest of the underrated singers in Malaysia. 👏👏👏 P/s: you should listen to her cover of “Mencintaimu - she performed somewhere in sarawak or Sabah ( i think).. it was amazingg !

since marsha from the same place as me... sabah, which im from kota Kinabalu... we do love to hear like marsha more even if in any gathering, we like to sing a song, especially in our local language Dusun/Kadazan... their song always with high note that i cant even pull it off haha,,, .. i do appreciate all malaysian singer but we can't turn blind eyes with high potential singer that we knew now days but being underated singer.... just why? why Malaysian? ... haihhh I'm really wondering...

She didn't win, but she is one of the few from her batch that is surviving in this competitive industry. * Bimbang = means worried. Personally, I do think that MarshaMilan is a very good singer & deserves a good company to guide her to fly higher in the sky. She really has a "one unique voice = X-FACTOR thing" rarely other people can have okay, besides Amylea (we can named a few who is available in Malay singing industry right now in Malaysia). Amylea is also quite good you know... (this is between young female singers only). 😄❤ The most important thing is (I'm so sorry, I had to state this)... any singer, musician & even composer... they are all trying their very best to survive for their music to be heard & to be appreciated by others as well.
