Great playing. James is amazing and his compositions are unique. The drums are impecable. Wow! The bassist, quite good. Too bad that his instrument sounds like s**t. Honestly, horrible tone.Shame, he is a good player.

Like beer...it is an acquired and nurtured taste. Like beer not all jazz sounds the same also. Some stuff, from the likes of Ornette, Noah Howard and Al Ayler I still do not get. James Brandon Lewis? I get it!
