I have a 2021Ranger R-25 and have the same issue. Soaked quite a few times! Great solution.

What did you use to cut and create the snap tee?

It’s part number 188221 at Lowe’s. It’s a standard plumbing part.

Dave, I can't see the downside of leaving these PVC pipes in place while underway. What do you think, now that you've used them for a while?

They stay on 24/7, even when the Bimini canvas is off.

That looks great! I'm thinking of doing this on our R25 to combat the retention pond on the back half of our bimini. How is it holding up so far? Do you think it would stay up doing its job in the heat of SW Florida? Also, what length did you end up using for the pvc pipe? Thanks for posting!

I think 66" was about what I ended up with. It really depends on how much of a bow you need. I left the Bimini cover on in one of our recent rain storms as a test. absolutely no pooling on the forward portion (where a gallon or more of water would pool up), but still a little pooling on the rear section. I will make a second one for the rear half. It does not sag as much, so it will be shorter.
