Yes! That's an excellent practice. I recommend creating duplicate views to support each of common editing tasks, and sorting these views into two groups -- views that will appear on the final sheets and working views. That way, the sheet views won't get changed (and accidentally left in a bad state) as you continue editing the model.

I like the idea of having an unadulterated Arch model in the structural file for easy reference. Do you recommend creating a different set of plans that actually make it to the sheets and keep the working plans separate?

some of the elements does not come over in the structuraal model. It seems like they are hidden but I can not unhide it in the structural model :(
