No Onion Garlic Thali Recipe ( Odia ) : Here I have shown a beautiful Veg Dishes Thali . Which is completely prepared without using Onion and Garlic. The easy and delicous dishes are Ghee flavoured Rice, Toor Dal Fry ( Tur dal fry ) , Paneer Makhani, Aloo Methi, Peanut Dates Payesh ( Kheer ) , Finger Chips, Sweet and sour Flavoured Dahi , Papad . This Thali can also be prepared during any Vrat, festival etc. So , must try this complete No onion garlic Thali or your favourite dishes from it . Enjoy :)
Ingredients :
For Pigeon Pea Fry ( Arhar Dal Fry / Tur Dal Fry / Toor Dal Fry / Harada Dal Fry ) :
1. Pigeon Pea ( Arhar / Toor Dal ) - 2 palmful
2. Diced Tomato - 1 ( medium )
3. Ginger and Green Chilli paste - 1 tbsp
4. Dry Red Chilli - 1
5. Panch Phoron ( mixed of cumin, mustard, black cumin, fenugreek and fennel seeds ) - 1 tbsp
6. Chopped Coriander leaves
7. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tbsp or 1 tsp
8. Kashmiri Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
9. Salt to taste
10. Oil
For Paneer Makhani Recipe :
1. Paneer - 100gm
2. Tomato - 2 nos. ( medium )
3. Cashew nuts - 8 nos.
4. Ginger - 1 inch
5. Chilli ( red / green )
6. Bay leaf - 1
7. Green Cardamom - 2
8. Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
9. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
10. Turmeric powder
11. kashmiri Chilli powder
12. Garam Masala - 1 tsp
13. Salt to taste
14. Dry Fenugreek leaves - 1 tbsp
15. Fresh Cream ( or soaked cashew paste 8-10 nos. ) - ( 3-4 tbsp )
16. Sugar - 1 tsp
17. Oil / Ghee / Butter
For Aloo Methi / Alu Methi Recipe :
1. Boiled Potato - 3nos. ( medium )
2. Dry Fenugreek Leaves - 2 tbsp
3. Tomato - 1 ( medium )
4. Ginger green chilli paste - 1 tbsp
5. Chilli ( red/green )
6. Bay leaf - 1
7. Black Cardamom - 1
8. Chopped Coriander leaves
9. Turmeric powder
10. Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
11. Asafoetida ( Hing ) - a pinch
12. Garam Masala - 1 tsp
13. Salt to taste
14. Oil/ghee
For Peanut Dates Payesh / Mungphali Kheer / Badam Khiri :
1. Raw Peanut ( Mungphali / China Badam ) - 1 palmful or 1/2 cup
2. Dates ( Khajara ) - ( 4-5 nos. )
3. Condensed Milk ( Mithai mate / Milkmade ) - ( 3-4 tbsp ) or as required , instead take Sugar or ( Milkpowder+sugar )
4. Green Cardamom - 2
5. Dry Fruitnuts ( cashew, kismis etc. )
6. Milk ( boiled / raw ) - 1 cup or 350 ml ( approx. )
7. Ghee - 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp Sugar
For Sweet and Sour flavouerd Curd ( Khata Mitha Chhunka Dahi ) :
1. Yougurt / Curd / Dahi - 1cup ( 125 ml )
2. Sugar - 2 tsp ( or as required )
3. Salt - 1/2 tsp ( or as per taste )
4. Fresh Curry leaves
5. Dry Red Chilli -1
6. Green Chilli - 1
7. Panch Phoron ( Pancha Phutana ) - 1 tsp ( mixed of cumin, mustard , fenygreek , black cumin and fennel seeds )
8. Oil - 1 tbsp
For Finger Chips Recipe :
1. Vegetables ( cut lengthwise ) - Potato , Beans, Pointed Gourd, Carrot etc.
2. Gram flour ( besan ) - 2 tbsp ( or as required )
3. Rice powder ( cornflour / arrowroot powder ) - 2½ tbsp
4. Ginger green chilli paste - 1 tbsp
5. Garam masala - 1 tsp
6. Tumeric powder - 1 tsp
7. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 2 tsp
8. Chat masala - 1/2 tsp or Lemon juice - 1 tsp
9. Salt to taste
10. White sesame seeds - 2 tsp
11. Oil to fry .
