Yes you are right. Normally most sound engineer do not know how to put mic on Dhamma. Dhamma is really soft low pitch drum need sensitive mic on it.

If possible, more attention needs to be spent on the overall mixing of the audio for many items on this channel. Even today, for Nusrat Khansahib's audio recordings, Dildar Sahib's tabla was always sounding amazing, rich and full with a high volume and solid mixing of the Dhamma and Tabla. Amrit's bhai is a tremendous qawwali taba player in his own right and also senior student of Didar Sahib did such an incredible job on Atta Wale Dhamma here. It is very amazing work in this recording which I enjoyed a lot If some attention and resources were spent on audio engineering with a keen ear for the qawwali sound, it would do so much to enhance these recordings from the Master himself, Ustad Dildar Hussain My favorite rendition of this qawwali by UNFAK -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppKmaGiHopqbo8k
