THAT GUY FROM kHAN ACADEMY IS TOTALLY AWESOME! HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING 100% BETTER THAN ALL MY PROFESSORS COMBINED.

I think what helps is the sound of his voice - the deep tone seems to help the listener to absorb the info and concepts - and there is a total absence of any sort of judgemental tone, which tends to be present in the average classroom. Sal just makes learning seem like a comfortable thing to do.

FREAKING TWENTY FIVE YEARS OLD AND I FINALLY UNDERSTAND BINARY. THANK YOU! I have to mark this day. I wonder if French speakers have a much easier time accepting different number based number systems.

Thanks alot. The way I was taught we were just supposed to memorize them up to 9. I'm glad i can actually understand the concept now.
@mazgaj26 жыл бұрын
Fantastic explanation. I personally think that what is also important to grasp at the beginning is that computers had to "adapt" to binary since we're working with a technical limitation of an electric current either flowing (1 'state') or not (0 'state'). Then you start to see that there's really not way to implement e.g. a decimal notation and a computer is only able to "see" 1s and 0s.

I think it's possible, but the key here is consistency and focus + patience. Most people lose their cool when they either win too much, or lose too much. That table is pretty conservative, I kindda like it. It's only at 15% ROI. Really good traders with money management and great observation can make up to 35% ROI per month. And imagine if you have a high enough bankroll? E.g. I give you 15K to start off. How fast do you think you will become a Millionaire? 2 years? Go figure...email at iamwhit489@gmail.com I will glad to help if you still having difficulty on binary operation.

:O nice, are you gonna be making videos of Computer Science? I've made a binary exercise before that I still haven't contributed, if you want it now let me know! BTW: An easy way to intepret binary is: [128] [64] [32] [16] [8] [4] [2] [1] 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 = 255 Basically just double the [X] value for each extra digit and add it, if it's 1

Honestly I'm subbed but don't watch all of these vids. And watching this vid got me thinking "what kind of dumbasses is he explaining this to? it's simple" then I realized I watched a vid about economics and he explained it quite nicely... then I realized that I was that "dumbass". And that's the beauty of this channel. No one know everything. Even thing some one else would consider common sense is unknown to someone else. And that is why he can't teach you programming

Lexicographic ordering? The least significant digit goes up for a while, but then it goes down and the digit to the left of it goes up.
@nsimmons94279 жыл бұрын
Thanks! So pretty much if binary denotation doesn't automatically represent a concrete amount of "things" for you, you can do simple multiplication conversion. That way 0000 = 8421 and 1111 = (1*8)+(1*4)+(1*2)+(1*1)=15 :D :D :D D :D

Lt Lobster your correct but idk how u got it, i checked the answer on an decimal to binary converted can u explain how u did it for a number so large, the calculators answer was (01101001) which i think is the same as '1101001'

@sterlingh95869 жыл бұрын
Damian Louden Jeez man. This is how I did it. So first I found out how many spaces I needed which is 7. Then I went through and added 64, 32, 8 and 1. Remember: there can only be one order that you can do this so you need to choose the biggest numbers first, then the small.
