Very interesting tutorial, thank you for sharing Brooks. Do you have some idea of real use case where we can use this type of algorithms? As we work mainly with objects in Salesforce, it seems dificult to find case where we can apply directly this (in my opinion).

You could do binary search with an Object but you may want to override the equal class. But no you will rarely need to implement your own search algorithm. SOQL does that for you. i’m of the opinion that data structures and algorithms are worth studying even if there does not seem to be a specific domain use case. Everything we do is built on DSA even if we are using what someone at SF implemented. And it does wonders for your problem solving skills
