these videos are very helpful bro. we often don't know where to go when we do research and projects for Chemical Engineering subjects. Information is not easy to find out there. keep up the good work, we are really learning.

Mr Daniel, HAve you worked on enthalpies for these models. If have do another video on these models. These are very useful to scholars and academicians.

Hi Sir, How temperature is decided for x1 (water liquid fraction) and x2 (phenol liquid fraction). Is this available data in literature. Kindly guide

Where do you get those literature values, g12 and g21? I'm not sure how to search for them for the specific mixture I'm calculating

Hi Josh, they can be difficult to find. You can find them in some books (e.g. dechema.de/dechema_eV/en/Media/Publications/Chemistry+Data+Series/Volume+I-p-863.html) and journal papers (i.e. search Google scholar) - but you often have to pay for these. You can also find them by regressing VLE data for the system you are interested in - but this can get complicated. The binary interaction parameters (g12 and g21) can also vary with temperature, so you have to be careful. Which system are you working on and what is the temperature range? Thanks, ChemEngTutor

@@ChemEngTutor Hi, I am required to find the binary interaction parameters using given VLE experimental data for a school assignment. But I do not know how to perform regression. Are there any helpful resources you can point me towards? Thank you.

Hello, your videos are very helpful. I'm just doing a work, that is about the same thing. I have a doubt, the "g" you calculate using the enthalpy of vaporization? or Did you get them from a handbook?

Hi Paulina, I obtained these values from "Gmehling, J., and U. Onken. Chemistry Data Series, Volume I Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium Data Collection Part 1. Frankfurt, Germany: DECHEMA, 1977. pp.492". Thanks, Daniel
