Now this is what I call a good crinkly video. Most ASMR content creators, when making crinkly trigger videos, are too rough to the plastic or whatever it is they use to make noise... it comes out too loud! This is one of the few actually gentle crinkle video out there. Thanks!

Wonderful crinkly sounds! I liked all of it, but I think I enjoyed the first bag with the slightly lower pitch the most. Your sound quality is always so amazingly crystal-clear, remind me again what mic setup you're using these days?

DonnaASMR Really?? I thought for some reason you were using the H4n. Your sound quality is seriously impressive for such a relatively inexpensive setup! I should really look into getting something from Zoom. My Yeti is fine, but really cumbersome, and the stereo separation isn't great. I suppose there's no substitute for a really good recording environment though. I tend to record on my computer desk, and you can always hear some white noise from the fans, even though I have a very quiet PC. I tend to get a bit of reverb in my room too, which sounds really unprofessional :/

Nitra AJ I'm afraid I don't have any experience with the SL150, but looking at online reviews, it seems to be a solid choice! It's a USB mic, so bear in mind that it won't work away from a computer.

Ever wonder if some of these sounds are triggers because those were the sounds we heard or fell asleep to when being held as babies? Think about it: 1. Ear cupping (when your held and your ear is on someone's arm). 2. Whispering to calm you or not wake you. 3. Plastic bags (someone eating snacks while your napping) 4. Paper turning (someone reading while holding you) 5. Tapping (like being patted on the back) I could go on but I thought these all had a common link as to why they give us certain sensations and maybe help us relax. I also think this might be why it's different for everyone.

I am honest: I have never heard of this ASMR stuff before, googled it and i have found this video. My brain kind of tingles when I listen to those sounds. Happened to me before as well when i was litening to special sounds. Good to know that i am not the only one, because I started to worry about my brain. Crinkles are a big trigger for me and big triggers usually give me tingles down the sides of my upper arms and the top of my thighs (in addition to my head). Upper legs aren't a place I usually read people have tingles at so I guess it could be weird?
