DIRECTIONS:
Select which pages you wish to use as your cover and inside cover. Cut your
chipboard down to 4x6in (x2) and one 2x6in (this will give you a 2in spine, if
you wish to make it larger just cut it to whatever size you wish x6). Then cut
your cover paper down to 11 1/2 x 7 1/2. Using your book cover guide
adhere you chipboard to your paper making sure you are doing so with the
wrong side face up. Using your book cover guide to mark and cut the
corners of the paper off. Now, using your hand the table and/or a bone folder
fold all your sides up and adhere to the chipboard. Cut your inside cover
paper to 5 3/4 x 10 and adhere as well. This is where I like to sew around the
boarder of the book and the spine to make sure my pages are nice and
adhered and also to give it a nice sewing look. Using your Crop-A-Dile Big
Bite punch your holes into the spine. You can make a templet using a ruler
and a piece of paper that matches the size of your spine, for mine that is 1
3/4 x 5 3/4 (you want to keep room for the folds on the sides) or you can just
eyeball where you would like your holes. Once your holes are punched it’s
time to add your eyelets using the same tool, your Crop-A-Dile Big Bite. Now

grab some ribbon from your stash and stitch your spine. If you want to add
your signatures into the book you’ll have to work out a pattern to do so
otherwise you can just use it as decoration.
TIPS & TRICKS or PERSONALIZED CAPTION:
When you are doing your ribbon start by entering from the inside of the book.
When you need to change signatures remember that must be from the outside.
You will not be able to change signatures if you are coming up from the inside of
the book. It’s ok to double over a pathway if you needed to. I had to do it a few
times in order to get back on track and keep my “x” pattern.

Not everyone had the span of attention the size of a gnat so I find absolutely irritating the way these videos are edited , at such a fast pace one barely understand what is all about in the first place . If I would be a beginner and this would be my first video of the kind I would be left puzzled . Why not keep those " shorts" for Insta and Tik where the audience seems to enjoy them and here on you tube provide us a proper tutorial from top to toe .
