Hi Cindy! Thanks for watching! The separation between the 2 holes is 2.3cm, and I used a ring of 4.3cm (outside diameter) and 3.8cm (inside diameter). In inches, the separation is 1/16 under an inch (roughly)

Hi! I know, not the most creative project... I was not going to publish this video, I thought people would find it boring, but fortunately I changed my mind, apparently they enjoy it and it's one of my most watched (still surprised) :) Those rings... I used to find them in a shop in Spain and now that shop is closed for good. I have been searching online for them but can't get them in that colour and size! I either get them in silver or the size is too big or too small... if you ever find them, please let me know! My stock won't last forever :( If I find them at my end, I'll let you know too! You could just tape the wrapping paper Instead of using mod-podge and then glue paper/cardstock where she added more wrapping paper on the inside. amazing tutorial tho- 😉😊

Thanks for your feedback :) If I understood it right, your approach means that the paper (taped) will not be sticked to the surface, correct? If that's the case, then for my later stages (adding paint and other mediums, as seen in the continuation video kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIjFmqF7n9yDm9U ) may make the paper crumble or move. I glued everything so my surface is solid and one, if you know what I mean, and it doesn't move. But if you're going to leave it plain and you like that finish, then yes, that's a great option too. Crafty Faires / Ревю на крафт продукти и идеи Hi, the binder was to bind my stamps which are roughly an A5 size. I'm not sure if I used the measure that a double hole puncher would do and use that measure to calculate from the middle hole where to place the other 2 holes top and bottom, or if I just eye bulleted them. My recommendation is: think what you will be binding (paper, cardboard, etc) and how you will need to make your holes at the end. If you are intending to use a double punch at the end, then use that measure to separate all holes. If you will use a single hole puncher then you are free to place them wherever you want. I would create a paper stipe (that's what I did) calculate where the middle one goes, punch the single hole, then fold the stripe template in half (so your middle hole is half a circle) and punch towards the edge but not too close, when you unfold you will have 3 holes at the same distance. You showed images of the final result at the beginning - which is good - but if an image speaks 1000 words, then a video will speak 10,000 - it might be much better if you showed a video of how it looks and works (at the beginning) - i.e. the brief snippet at 8::57 ----> it helps conceptualise the result.

Hi Sabbu, thanks for watching! I've used masking tape but cello tape would work as well, the only difference is that cello tape is plastic texture while masking tape is paper texture so the glue may not stick perfectly on cello tape and may need more drying time, but it should still be OK if you're not in a rush to get things dry. I think in some places they call it greyboard and in others chipboard, so yes, I think it should be the same, it's that grey board that it's very thick and robust. Yes, you can use a plastic paper scorer (that's what I used, although I call it bone folder probably). I hope you give it a try! If so let me know how it turned out. I don’t know if I’d get an answer since this is an older video, but I really want to try to make a binder, however I’m having trouble on deciding to get the scoring board. Is it a necessary item to use? or can I do the binder without it?

You don't need the scoring board. I don't even remember in which part of the video I use it, so I would probably forget to use it next time. A scoring board is just a tool to make the work easier, but you can do whatever you need just manually. I hope that helps. Good night! 😊

No, any glue will do. PVA glue or the regular white glue. I use modpodge because it dries really fast and I'm sure it sticks really well and it stays matt finish.

Hi Sofia, you can use an eyelet punch or an awl for example (make sure to protect your surface with a cardboard or something thick, so you don't ruin your table). If the surface was not very thick, you could also use a big needle and once a small hole is created, you can expand the hole by inserting bigger things, like the back of a small round brush handle, and force the hole to be wider and wider (increment the size of the brush) until you get the size of hole you need. That wasn't cardstock you used - it's chipboard. And that wasn't a pokey tool - if was a Japanese screw punch. The holes are of course the hardest part and most vital to recreating a diy. By not being clear I think you make it look too easy. I come to think that others will think it's that easy - into they attempt to do themselves and can't. I say that because I know how hard it is to find a Japanese screw punch. I think this video is misleading.

Hi Mony! Thanks for your feedback. Sorry, when I do voiceover I confuse sometimes the terms and I must admit that at the time I recorded and edited this video I didn't know chipboard and cardboard were different materials in English (in Spanish we call that chipboard as "grey cardboard", hence my mis-translation/confusion) and in addition I called it cardstock instead of cardboard, so double the mess... but you're right, obviously what I used is thicker than cardstock... In UK though, instead of chipboard, they call it greyboard, so I totally I confused the terms. However, if you see the description of the video, I added links to the actual supply, so people can see what I actually used. I've updated the name of the supply, I changed it from "grey cardstock" to chipboard. I've added subtitles to the video and added the right description, I hope that helps the viewers (It's the first time I add subtitles, so I'm not sure if what I did was actually saved...).
