Any tips for 90° mitered corners with binding? By hand isnt too bad for something like a wallet. But anything larger id be curious how you can do it with a binder attachment.

At 2:15, why do the edges start getting wavy right there??? Is there any way to prevent that??? Also, how much of the presser foot set did you cut off to make your modified set please? I have an extra presser foot set for my machine and need to do this to make better curves with binding tape.
@AdventureGearProjects2 жыл бұрын
The Material gets wavy due to different tension on the inner and outer radius of the Material. Currently I use a regular Binder Foot instead of m selfmade one. I shortened the Walking Foot and Presser Foot to 50% of length. For a pity... There is no way to prevent the Material from getting wavy... Cheers🤘😎

@@AdventureGearProjects Thanks for your reply. I’m using the same 90 degree binder that you’re using in that part of your video, but cannot get around the curves well at all. :(

@johnny61482 жыл бұрын
why are u not using bias tape. also more tension on the tape will take out the waves in the tape. know any mfg. of quality double fold attachments? I have 1.5" 400 D polyester slit for me. I was the first mfg. to use double folded cordura in 1980.
@AdventureGearProjects2 жыл бұрын
Good Question... I never used Bias Tape before... I got a Role laying around for Testing... And yes, the waves/rats nests are a remarkable problem when it comes down to bind round corners...
