This is truth. I received severl 10K+ raises over the last several years by just believing and speaking...and this was before I knew anything about Hagin or word of faith. I simply had a financial need and started seeking God. I had already been a student of His word and strong in intercessory prayer and praying in the Spirit, so hearing revelation from God and seeing miracles was not new to me. So when God led me to simply believe and speak, though it seemed unnatural, I obeyed. And the money came each time, and quickly. And if you have true wisdom and understand grace and power, you won't have to abuse it. But you know you'll always have this ability in your arsenal to stay ahead and be fruitful. They enemy will never steal from you again!

The concept of “binding and loosing” is taught in the Bible in Matthew 16:19: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” In this verse, Jesus is speaking directly to the apostle Peter and indirectly to the other apostles. Jesus’ words meant that Peter would have the right to enter the kingdom himself, that he would have general authority symbolized by the possession of the keys, and that preaching the gospel would be the means of opening the kingdom of heaven to all believers and shutting it against unbelievers. The book of Acts shows us this process at work. By his sermon on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-40), Peter opened the door of the kingdom for the first time. The expressions “bind” and “loose” were common to Jewish legal phraseology meaning to declare something forbidden or to declare it allowed. Peter and the other disciples were to continue Christ’s work on earth in preaching the gospel and declaring God’s will to men and they were armed with the same authority as He possessed. In Matthew 18:18, there is also a reference to the binding and loosing in the context of church discipline. The apostles do not usurp Christ’s lordship and authority over individual believers and their eternal destiny, but they do exercise the authority to discipline and, if necessary, excommunicate disobedient church members. It’s not that the apostles were given the privilege of changing God’s mind, as if whatever they decided on earth would be duplicated in heaven; rather, they were encouraged that, as they moved forward in their apostolic duties, they would be fulfilling God’s plan in heaven. When the apostles “bound” something, or forbade it on earth, they were carrying out the will of God in the matter. When they “loosed” something, or allowed it on earth, they were likewise fulfilling God’s eternal plan. In both Matthew 16:19 and 18:18, the syntax of the Greek text makes the meaning clear: “Whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens” (Matthew 16:19, Young’s Literal Translation). Or, as the Amplified Bible puts it, “Whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” Jesus taught that the apostles had a special task on earth. Their words of authority, as recorded in the New Testament epistles, reflect God’s will for the church. When Paul declared an anathema on those who pervert the gospel, then we know that anathema was already declared in heaven (see Galatians 1:8-9). From gotquestions.org

That's what I did. Since you're bible savvy, why don't you share your personal successes with the scriptures to stand on? That truly would help us and understand your point.

In this book, The Midas Touch, Kenneth Hagin corrects the out of balance prosperity gospel that so many were preaching during the 70s and the 80s and even 90’s He lost quite a few supporting prosperity teachers when he called a meeting to give them the heads up on that book coming out. Loosing and binding could have something to do with how we treat each other. Do we show love and respect to our loved ones and others that we come into contact with? Or are we moody and could care less about how we treat people that cross our path. If we create an environment of anger and hostility we are loosing evil and creating an atmosphere that welcomes the demonic.

Teachers are saying that that verse is being taken out of context, and that he is only talking to those he predestined. I'm saying he means 'whoever' and that it is his will for all souls to be saved, that includes the worst of us. I hope I'm making sense.

This translation accurately depicts the verb tense found in the Greek: "Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven" (Matthew 18:18 NASB). The Lord's Prayer supports this: "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Kieth Moore is not sovereign; God is sovereign.

Both claimed Simon Peter's Power and Authority given by Christ Jesus was passed on through the next generation of SUCCESSORS... Therefore, if that is TRUE, all denominations of Protestant Churches are at the mercy of RCC/GOC thru their Power and Authority of EXCOMMUNICATION... Any reaction from the Protestants about this matter?... Were this Power and Authority given by Christ including the KEYS to the GATE of Heaven, DIED along with Simon Peter in his grave?... "Much of the church world does not believe this." A few questions to show the absurdity in these statements. If we permit sin, will God permit sin? If we allow marriage, will God allow marriage? Can we shut down the Word of God, will then God shut down the Word of God? No. It's no wonder much of the church world, true born again Christians, does not believe this. These are the things which get taught by men who are not of Christ and are of the world because they desire the things of the world to be with them always. God did not give us authority to allow what we allow or to loose, to permit, to bind, or to shut down things. Not only that, these statements are very vague and are not direct in the meaning of "allow" or "authority." Like all other so called TV evangelists, Keith Moore is no different than a wolf in sheep's clothing. One thing I've come to realize. I can and have prayed and prayed for ppl according to the will of God. I was absolutely devastated when someone I had been praying for, OF THEIR OWN FREE WIll purposely committed immorality and got pregnant. THEN I REALIZED...people have a "FREE WILL" TO CHOOSE. We Have a responsibility to do what's right and CHOOSE to do what's right. So what this taught me was that I can pray til the cows come home or til I'm blue in the face and that doesn't mean ppl will do what's right..BECAUSE ..they have A FREE WILL. Apparently, this verse doesn't intend to communicate as you told your congregation "to lay hold on whatever you need next week, next month and you can add anything to it later but claim it now in Jesus name".
