I would love to see the reactions of people of this era to today's sound systems.

Old records like this always sound so much better, on more modern record players. At least they sound like they have music on them instead of the desperate crying of trapped souls. 😅😅😅

You would think…. The sound has to pass through a running motor and it still sounds great

The Bingola record didn't sound too bad. Did you rebuild the reproducer? You have a nice collection of children's phonographs!
@moonlightfordf100511 ай бұрын
These small records were made very cheaply and the sound quality reflects that over 100 years later. The Phonograph is 100% original with just some oil/adjusting. The reproducer hasn’t been rebuilt.

Victrola, Amberola. Graphonola now Bingola. Any other olas out there ?

Looks like a can of Ham. I could imagine Harpo Marx lip syncing with one of these record players on his back. 😂

What's the difference between a"Graphophone" and a Gramophone?
@moonlightfordf10053 ай бұрын
Graphophone was a name Columbia used as there brand for both there cylinder and flat record phonographs. Gramophone is the the name of the first flat record phonograph. It is used to describe almost all phonographs even throw they haven’t been produced in approximately 125 years. There both phonographs.
